Getting there

Educity Sports Complex is in Iskandar Puteri, on the Malaysian side of the Johor Strait — about a 30–40 minute drive from the Woodlands or Tuas checkpoints, depending on immigration queues. Most visitors cross from Singapore by car or coach; ride-hailing across the border is also common but check current cross-border pickup rules before you rely on it.

Where to stay for it

A base in Johor Bahru city, Iskandar Puteri or Puteri Harbour keeps you close to the festival grounds without needing to cross the checkpoint twice in a day. It's also a good pairing with a Singapore stay if you're splitting a longer trip between both sides of the causeway.

Good to know

Cross-border queues at Woodlands and Tuas can be unpredictable, especially on weekends and public holidays — build in buffer time both ways.
